OSI-type Coaching with Denise Joseph, J.D.
Denise Joseph, J.D.
Denise Joseph is primary founder of Open Sea Institute and co-innovator of proprietary OSI-type portfolio technologies and novel OSI-type research produced at the Open Sea Institute Research Initiative System (OSIRIS).
Denise Joseph is an experienced Executive, Lawyer, and Master Certified Professional Coach educated by various elite institutions at home and abroad including The George Washington University, New York University, and Oxford University.
Denise has authored academic works in peer-reviewed publications on the topics of life science, evolutionary biology, mental health, and public policy.
Denise has served as ally, advisor, and coach to executives in finance, tech, healthcare, academia, and their organizations and families. She is driven by her belief in the cumulative and dynamic effect of change in reference to human beings and the systems humans create to govern life. The healthier humans are—the more aware, the more at peace— the better systems humans create, especially those with outsized influence on society and the natural world. Denise’s work at OSI is tailored to the positive, sustainable, and ethical growth of our world’s highest achievers.
Denise has graduate level education in mental health counseling and has ICF accredited educational certifications as both Master Certified Professional Coach and Master Certified Professional Life Coach. At Open Sea Institute, Denise practices with a mastery of the canon that preceded her in addition to the OSI-type psychotechnology of her own co-invention, which utilizes the best, expels the worst, and reimagines and executes the science and art of wellbeing as it has never been conceptualized.
At Open Sea Institute, Denise seeks to engineer a reality that respects and loves the human individual as the bedrock of civilization. The work she has generated is primarily foundational due to her realization that investment in self is not only investment in the individual, family or community, but investment in nation, in state, in economy and GDP, and in our collective future. She knows that societies will truly flourish when mental health is adequately prioritized and incentivized in populations. At OSI, Denise is keenly aware that her focus is interdisciplinary and heavy on awareness and public health.
A natural healer and ardent believer in the ancient Ayurvedic maxim, “With proper diet, medicine is of no need,” Denise pursued specialization in Plant Medicine at Cornell University where she examined the history of legal issues surrounding ethnobotany, sustainable ethnobotanical research, plant chemistry, efficacy and toxicity. At OSI, Denise uses her knowledge of the interplay of nutrition, diet, herbal extracts, functional medicine, psychedelic therapies and traditions of folk and indigenous medicine across the globe.
Denise’s longstanding devotion to Plant Medicine and Cultural Heritage Preservation inspired and informed the establishment of the Open Sea Lodge at Nantahala Water Mountain, an OSI Sanctuary and Research Site (OSIRIS) in the Precambrian mountains of the Nantahala National Rain Forest on the American Blue Ridge. The Open Sea Lodge at Nantahala Water Mountain sits in an old growth forest on North America’s most biodiverse and protected land.
At OSI, Denise Joseph affords executive clients, families, and organizations the opportunity for authentication and empowerment. Denise works with each client on a one-to-one basis to relieve discomfort, dissatisfaction or stress and induce a sustained sense of freedom and increased aptitude for achievement. Neuroscientific research confirms that our brains are equipped for growth, edification and healing. OSI-type psychotechnologies predispose the human brain for success.
Those who seek a consistency of relief and the transformation that will inevitably ensue, arrive at OSI-type coaching knowing that Denise offers the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual capacity to serve and the will to love and shepherd her fellow travelers as herself. Her passion for living is contagious.
“At OSI, Denise uses her knowledge of the interplay of nutrition, diet, herbal extracts, functional medicine, psychedelic therapies and traditions of folk and indigenous medicine across the globe.”
